Our Story
Why We Exist
AntiquePak was founded by people who understood firsthand that standard commercial insurance policies were never designed with antique dealers or mall owners in mind. Coverage limits were too low, exclusions were too broad, and claims adjusters were less familiar with how to value a piece of mid-century furniture or a collection of vintage advertising signs.
We set out to fix that. AntiquePak policies are written specifically for this industry — with coverage terms, limits, and claims handling that actually reflect how the antiques trade works.
We serve dealers and antique malls in many communities like yours. Every policy we write, every claim we handle, is serviced with the same care you give to your unique products.
"We started AntiquePak because we kept hearing the same story — a dealer loses inventory to a water damage, fire, or theft, files a claim, and gets only frustration when inventory is treated like common contents. AntiquePak is designed with this unique property in mind."
— Cameron Shandersky, founder & designer of AntiquePak
What We Stand For
We know the difference between Depression glass and carnival glass, between a first-edition piece and a reproduction. That knowledge shapes every policy we write.
When you file a claim, a specialist familiar with the antiques trade handles it. He/She will take the utmost care to recognize your inventory's unique value.
No confusing exclusions buried in fine print. We explain what is and is not covered in plain language and encourage your questions at any time.
Most commercial insurers treat dealers as an afterthought. We built AntiquePak specifically with the unique exposures of this community in mind.
Our Clients
AntiquePak serves two groups — and we take both seriously.
Whether you rent a single booth or operate across multiple malls, your inventory is your livelihood. We provide coverage that travels with you — to shows, estate sales, and everywhere in between — at rates that make sense for a small business.
Dealer coverage →Running a multi-tenant antique mall is a complex operation. Your insurance needs to account for the building, common areas, rental income, and the unique liability landscape of a shared-vendor environment.
